“From the Stands to the Paddock: Volunteering at an F1 Grand Prix” 🏎️

Last November, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the Formula 1 Lusail Grand Prix — an experience that was both exhilarating and deeply rewarding. Being part of this high-octane, globally celebrated event gave me firsthand insight into the precision, coordination, and passion that drive motorsport at the highest level.

Throughout the race weekend, I contributed to ensuring seamless operations — from coordinating logistics to supporting key on-ground activities. Every task demanded focus and adaptability, as we worked under tight timelines to keep the event running like clockwork amid the fast-paced excitement.

One of the most fulfilling aspects was collaborating with a diverse team of volunteers and organisers from around the world. Together, we shared a collective commitment to excellence and a mutual love for motorsport. This collaboration reinforced the importance of clear communication, teamwork, and mutual respect in achieving success.

Immersing myself in the electrifying atmosphere of Formula 1 — hearing the thunder of engines, witnessing fans’ excitement, and observing behind-the-scenes precision — gave me a profound appreciation for the scale and complexity of global event management.

This experience strengthened my ability to perform under pressure and highlighted the significance of preparation, attention to detail, and adaptability in dynamic environments. Above all, it inspired me to bring the same energy, discipline, and passion into my future endeavours, driving excellence in every challenge I take on.
