From Learning to Impact: My HR Internship Story at Tivoli Furniture Qatar

I’m sincerely grateful to Tivoli Furniture for this incredible opportunity, and to the entire HR team for their continuous support and mentorship throughout my internship. 🌟

Wrapping up my three-month HR internship at Tivoli Furniture, Qatar, which began in May 2025, has been an incredibly fulfilling and insightful journey!

During my time with the HR team, I had the privilege of contributing to a variety of key functions, including:

• Assisting with the employee onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires
• Screening and reviewing CVs to support effective candidate selection
• Helping organize and coordinate internal events and initiatives, such as the company’s Office Medical Day
• Gaining hands-on experience with internal HR platforms to enhance workflow efficiency
• Supporting data management tasks using Excel, ensuring HR records were organized and up to date

                   

This internship not only deepened my understanding of the HR field but also strengthened my skills in communication, organization, teamwork, and data management. Most importantly, it gave me firsthand insight into how effective HR practices shape a positive workplace culture and drive organizational success.

I would also like to express my appreciation to Anwar Ghaida, Chief HR Officer, for creating a motivating and supportive environment that made my internship both meaningful and memorable.
